Q:What is YAMADASAKETEN international shopping site?

A: This international shipping site is e-commerce site managed by YAMADASAKETEN who is one of local traditional retailer located in Takaoka-Shi, Toyama, Japan. You can buy traditional Japanese Sake from Japan directly!   

Q:Who is YAMADASAKETEN?

A:We are one of local traditional official retail agent designated by each Brand Sake Brewery. We would like to introduce Japanese classic Sake which is totally different with the trends. We would like you to enjoy Japanese classic Sake. So, we started this international shopping site. 

Q:Should I create customer account?

A: This is Japanese Sake (alcohol beverage) shopping site. In order to limit the access, we request you to make customer account. With rgard to personal information, please refer to our Privacy policy.

Order and Shipping

Q:Which countries do you ship Sake?  

A:We can ship to Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, New zealand, Europe Area (Germany, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Denmark, Lativa). With regard to the other regions, please contact us before your order.

Q:Which payment method is available?

A:You can settle the bill by credit card (Visa, Master, and Amex). 

Q:Which currency is available?

A:The price of Sake on this web site is displayed by USD, and you are charged by USD.

Q:How many bottles can you ship by one order?

A:We can ship maximum 6 bottles at one pack. We recommend that you order favorite 6 bottles per one order. We use dedicated carton box as external box for shipping. This  box is for 6 bottles. With regard to inside packing, we use packing materials as a buffer that protects from damages for the products.

Q:Do you have special shipping policy for Sake?

A: Yes, we have our own shipping policy in order to keep Sake good condition.

    1,Shipping to northern hemisphere countries from Japan is only during October to April.

    2,Shipping to southern hemisphere countries from Japan is only during March to September. 

   Furthermore, we ship Sake every Monday (except national holiday) in order to avoid keeping Sake in the warehouse of courier as much as possible. If you order Tuesday, we will ship your order next Monday. This shipping policy keeps Sake good condition.

Q:How soon do you ship Sake?

Q:How are Sake shipped?

A:International order is shipped by international courier DHL or EMS. You can choose wichever you like.

Q:Can I track my order?

A:Yes, you can. When your order is shipped, we are going to send you DHL or EMS tracking No. to your e-mail address.

Q:How soon can I recieve Sake?

A:DHL and EMS estimated delivery time is about 7 to 10 business days without any issue and problem at custom clearance. There might be possibility of delay in delivery due to unexpected reasons.

Q:Should I pay the custom duty or the other fee?

A: We will ship all order by DDU, incoterms 2010, "duties and taxes unpaied", and we does not collect the VAT, duties and / or taxes. Taxes and duties are not included in the item price or shipping charges. Please kindly note that the buyer (importer) pays those charges if required. We can not predict what your particular charges may be. If you do incur any additional charges, they must be paied for your package to clear the customs. In this case, you can pay directly to the courier or to the customs. For more information with regard to your country's custom policies, please contact your local customs office. 

Cancellation, Exchanges, Returns and Refunds

Q:How can I cancel my order?

A:Basically, once your order is completed, we can not accept any cancellation for customer's personal reason. 

Q:Can I return or exchange the products and recieve the refund?

A:Returns and exchanges are accepted only if the products delivered are either different one which you ordered or have damages. Please contact us within 7 (seven) business days of the arrival of the products before sending us back. If we do not have any stock for exchanges, we will refund you the purshase price. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping fee will be deducted from your refund. If 7 (seven) business days have gone by since your reciept, unfortunately we can’t accept any returns, exchanges or refunds.To be eligible for a return and exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer directly. With regrad to returns, exchagnes and refund, please contact following e-mail address before shipping back us, and after confirming, please ship the prodcuts to the following adress.
