Brewery is Miyao Sake Brewing Co., Ltd. established in 1819 and located in Murakami-Shi, Niigata, Japan.

Murakami area is one of the finest rice producing areas of Niigata that cultivates a variety of quality Sake rice such as Gohyakumangoku.

They uses underground water from Asahi mountain via the Miomote River.

This delicate and almost sweet soft water is used in brewing, and shapes the flavour of their Sake.
