The brewery name is Nambu Shuzojo located in Ono, Fukui prefecture.

This brewery is established by their first generation "七右衛門 Shichiemon" in 1733 (Edo era) and founded in 1950. 

At the beginning, they started as hardware store, and they started to brew in 1901.

Brand name Hanagaki is 花垣 in Japanese languages named from one of Noh song Hanagatami.

This word means sufficient luck which pleases and looks at people's mind, delights eyes, and full of hope.
