Brewery is Miyasaka Brewing Company located in Suwa, Nagano in Japan, and established in 1662. Their famous Sake brand is Masumi.

Masumi is the birthplace of a superior yeast "Brewing Association yeast number seven" designated by the national brewing association in 1946.

This yeast is the most widely used Sake yeast in Japan.

The new MIYASAKA brand series honors their roots by using only yeast number seven in ways both classic and new.
